Do I need previous makeup experience?
No. The workshop welcomes complete beginners and anyone who wants to improve their camera-preparation routine.
Is this suitable for men?
Yes. The techniques are suitable for all genders, with guidance adapted to your features and the finish you prefer.
Will I work on myself?
Yes. You will complete the practical activities on yourself, with guidance and individual feedback from Laura.
What do I need to bring?
You are welcome to bring your own brushes and makeup kit. Starter kits can be provided on request at an additional cost. Please let Laura know when enquiring if you would like a starter kit.
Can I use this for video meetings and webinars?
Yes. The workshop is relevant to video calls, webinars, online teaching, livestreams and recorded content, as well as television appearances.
Do I need expensive products?
No. Learn how to assess suitable products and make useful choices for your routine. Purchases, including Tropic products, are entirely optional.
How long is it, and is there an exam?
The workshop provides 4 CPD hours over a four-hour practical course. Assessment takes place through participation and practical application, with ongoing tutor feedback. There is no written examination.
Can you run this for our team?
Yes. Contact Laura about training for colleagues who appear in company videos, webinars or presentations. Shorter tailored sessions can also be discussed separately from the full CPD workshop.
