Why learn with Laura?
With more than 25 years of hair and makeup experience across television, bridal and commercial work, including my work as a BBC Lead Makeup Artist, I understand how preparation and attention to detail contribute to an on-screen look.
I will help you connect that experience to your own filming routine, from choosing a comfortable finish to checking shine, grooming and the effect of lighting. You will have time to practise, ask questions and receive feedback you can use the next time you press record.
Draw on Laura’s television and commercial experience to understand practical details that matter on camera.
Work on yourself, ask questions and develop a routine suited to your skin and preferred finish.
Connect product choices, grooming and final camera checks to the content or presentations you create.

My Approach to Skincare & Makeup
Understanding skin and preparing it well is an important part of my makeup teaching. We explore how skincare, product choice and application work together, with attention to each person’s needs, preferences and confidence.
Alongside my professional work, I’m an independent Tropic Ambassador. Its vegan and cruelty-free approach aligns with my personal values, and I enjoy sharing the range with anyone who is interested.
Interested in the products I use? You’re welcome to explore my Tropic shop separately—there’s no obligation to purchase anything as part of your course.
